| With the support of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the health center convened the East Coast Regional Conference on SARS. The health center also collaborated with New York University School of Medicine to establish the Center for the Study of Asian American Health, the only research and training center in the United States dedicated to eliminating Asian American health disparities. The project received a five-year grant from the National Institutes of Health. |
