The WIC Program (Women, Infants and Children Nutrition Program) is a federal food and nutrition program which provides specific nutritious food supplements and promote nutrition education for low-income pregnant women, women post-delivery, and infants and children up to five years of age who are at-risk. Mothers who breast-feed their babies receive WIC Program benefits for one year after delivery.
