In March 2004, the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center and the Chinese American Healthy Heart Coalition launched the "You Are What You Eat" campaign to promote healthy eating and physical activity for heart health.
Through a series of workshops for at-risk seniors, forums for the community, and through collaborations with local restaurant and bakery chains, the campaign aims to improve heart health awareness, empower adults and seniors to take control of their health, and increase healthy options at local eateries.
This campaign was made possible through a grant from the Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation. |
