Haruka Ka, L.C.S.W.
Ms. Ka is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in outpatient community mental health services and Asian-American mental health services.
She provides diagnostic and treatment assessment for a wide range of mental illness, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment and psychotic disorders. Ms. Ka also provides individual therapy for patients of all ages. She works collaboratively with the medical and psychiatric teams to enhance care for her patients.
Ms. Ka’s treatment approach is collaborative. She values an individual’s capacity to grow and actively works to create an accepting space where they can learn more about themselves in meaningful and compassionate ways. She strives to understand people’s experiences in relation to their social and cultural environments and utilizes theories and interventions such as cognitive behavioral, attachment, and interpersonal approaches to support them in developing helpful skills.
Outside of work, Ms. Ka enjoys spending time with family and friends, and reading.
