Grace Chow, D.D.S.
Dr. Chow is a board-eligible, general practice dentist.
She performs a wide range of dental services, including general examinations, teeth cleaning, dental x-rays, dental fillings and crowns, tooth extraction, root canals, basic periodontal treatment, denture and bridge care, referrals and care coordination with specialists, and health education to promote oral health.
Dr. Chow’s approach to dental care is patient-centered, evidence based, and non-judgmental. She strives to reduce the anxiety that many people have for dentistry because of its contribution to avoidance of dental care and increased pain perception. She enjoys educating her patients so that they have a complete understanding of their oral health needs and the treatment provided.
Dr. Chow served as president and outreach chair of an inter-professional outreach work group where she managed a team of dentists, optometrists, nutritionists, and pharmacists. She also organized outreach services as part of this team to support Asian seniors in lower Manhattan.
When not working, Dr. Chow enjoys traveling, board games with friends, and playing sports, such as volleyball, basketball, and handball.
