The Chinatown Health Clinic Foundation (CHCF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that primarily supports the work of the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center (CBWCHC). CBWCHC traces its origins to 1971, when a group of driven volunteers organized the first Chinatown Health Fair to provide health education and screenings to the medically underserved Chinese community in New York City. Today, it is one of the largest providers of healthcare to the burgeoning Asian community in New York, with six locations serving approximately 275,000 medical visits annually. View CBWCHC fact sheet.
The CHCF Partners in Health Golf Classic raises funds annually to support the programs and services of CBWCHC. Taking place at the beautiful Alpine Country Club, we cordially invite guests to join us or sponsor the event to further our mission to improve access to quality health care for underserved Asian Americans and other vulnerable populations.
Space is highly limited. Please register online by Friday, August 25, 2023. The event will be held rain or shine.
For any questions regarding the event, please email Yong Lu at yolu@cbwchc.org or call (212) 379-6988.
Your contribution is deductible to the extent allowed by law. The China Health Clinic Foundation’s EIN is 13-3808933.

Thank you for supporting the Chinatown Health Clinic Foundation 2023 Annual Gala Dinner on May 18, 2023 at Tribeca 360° in New York City.
At the Gala, our primary fundraising event, we celebrated the impressive work of the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center. About 420 friends, including guests from the community, business, philanthropy and government, gathered to celebrate the more than $1 million raised to support community-based health services.
This year’s honoree was Dr. David Ho, renowned AIDS researcher, physician and virologist. As head of the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center at Columbia University, Dr. Ho’s groundbreaking therapies transformed AIDS from a certain death sentence to a manageable disease, saving millions of lives. For this, he was named Time magazine’s Man of the Year in 1996, the first physician to be so honored. An immigrant himself and a long-time friend of the Foundation, Dr. Ho strongly believes in its mission.
The evening also featured special remarks from Dr. Ashwin Vasan, Commissioner of New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and a captivating performance by Joyous String Ensemble.
Melissa Lee, host of CBNC’s “Fast Money” and “Options Action,” served as emcee.
