Kehan Zhou, LMSW

Ms. Zhou is a licensed master social worker specializing in outpatient community mental health services.

She provides diagnostic and treatment assessment for a wide range of mental illness, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment and psychotic disorders. Ms. Zhou also provides individual therapy for patients of all ages. She works collaboratively with the medical and psychiatric teams to enhance care for his patients.

Ms. Zhou’s approach to mental health is patient-centered and culturally responsive. She uses motivational interviewing and active listening in combination with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT[YZ1.1]) skills to empower her patients and help them flourish in their lives.

Ms. Zhou spent one year volunteering at Missouri Asian American Youth Foundation where she facilitated healing circles and mental health workshops for Asian Americans in the St. Louis region. She connected this community to local mental health resources and provided them with a safe space to share their experiences as ethnic minorities.

In her spare time, Ms. Zhou enjoys reading books, traveling, and cooking.
