Madeleine Chen, DNP
Dr. Chen is a primary care nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine at the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center.
She provides comprehensive care for adults, from diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions to offering preventive services such as annual exams and immunizations. Dr. Chen also coordinates care with specialists and focuses on empowering patients through education to manage their health effectively.
Dr. Chen always aims to educate and empower patients to take an active role as a member of their own health care team. She also utilizes her background in nutritional science to supplement her medical decision making.
During her time in nursing school at Columbia University, Dr. Chen volunteered with the Colorectal Cancer Screening Project where she educated high-risk populations on the importance of colorectal screening, connecting them to the proper screening opportunities.
Outside of work, Dr. Chen enjoys knitting, baking, and practicing wushu.
