Esther Han Silver, PHR

Esther H. Silver is the Chief Human Resources Officer at the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center, where she has dedicated more than 25 years of service. During her tenure, she has played a pivotal role in expanding the Health Center’s workforce from just over 200 employees to nearly 700, including many years as Director of Human Resources. Mrs. Silver holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wellesley College and is certified as a Professional in Human Resources by the Human Resource Certification Institute.

In addition to her professional achievements, Mrs. Silver served nine years as an elected member of her community’s school board, including two years as president. She earned the highest level of individual certification from the New Jersey School Boards Association, attaining the designation of Certified Board Leader. She brings this combined expertise in human resources and governance to the Health Center, where she remains committed to fostering a professional, supportive, and growth-oriented environment for all staff.
