Reina Qu, DO

Dr. Qu is a primary care physician specializing in family medicine at the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center.

She provides comprehensive care for adults, from diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions to offering preventive services such as annual exams and immunizations. Dr. Qu also coordinates care with specialists and focuses on empowering patients through education to manage their health effectively.

Dr. Qu takes a holistic and patient-centered approach to her care, emphasizing the importance of understanding each individual’s socioeconomic background and cultural context as well as integrating evidence-based approaches to best fit the patient. She strives to find the connections between clinical symptoms, lived experiences, and systemic factors to provide more equitable, compassionate, and effective care. Dr. Qu’s areas of interest in health include preventive medicine, obesity management, gynecology, and treating acute and chronic conditions.

Dedicated to serving the community in various ways, Dr. Qu spent a year volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, building homes for neighbors in need in New Mexico.

Outside of work, Dr. Qu enjoys spending time with family and friends, studying philosophy, reading memoirs and nonfiction works, and hosting dinners and game nights.
