FAQs
We do not carry or provide prescription glasses, frames, or contact lenses at either location. We do offer prescription for glasses, which you can take to any optical store of your choice. Since we do not carry contact lens trials/samples, we cannot do initial contact lens fittings or do contact lens refits. However, if you're happy in your contact lenses and have the latest prescription or boxes of the contact lenses, and we're able to evaluate the fit of the lenses during your exam, then we can give you a copy of your contact lens prescription, assuming the vision and fit are good for you.
Optometrists are qualified to treat many types of eye conditions, such as amblyopia, glaucoma, myopia, infections, and more. We can also check for diseases of the retina, such as diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, macular degeneration, etc.
Standard eye and vision care services and exams are offered at both locations. Our Flushing office on 40th Road offers specialty testing equipment such as a visual field machine and an OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography), which allows us to test for conditions such as glaucoma and macular diseases directly on site.
