Developmental & Special Needs Support
Aside from annual exams, screening, diagnosing, and treatment for common illnesses, the Health Center’s pediatric team also provides developmental and special needs support by monitoring growth, development, and behavioral health to screen for and address various possibilities such as ADHD and autism. Teen Health and STI Testing
Teen health is incredibly important, which is why the Health Center provides comprehensive pediatric care services including adolescent sexual and mental health. Adolescents can access STI testing based on their provider's assessments and receive necessary education.

Yes, our Pediatrics department conducts behavioral health screenings and evaluations and can refer patients to the Mental Health department as needed. Sexual health services such as STI testing are provided based on providers' assessments. Teens are encouraged to discuss with their care team how to receive confidential medical care.
In addition to the primary care that our pediatricians provide, the Health Center's Special Needs Program works to strengthen services for children with developmental disabilities and their families by providing comprehensive clinical services, care coordination, and by engaging parents as partners in their children's care. We also work collaboratively with community partners to provide high-quality services for these families.
