Accessible Mental Health Care & Psychiatric Services in Chinatown & Flushing

Charles B. Wang Community Health Center’s Mental Health services provide integrated mental and behavioral health care for adults, children, and families who are existing primary care patients at the Health Center. Referrals are made through your primary care provider and appointments are available in-person or via telehealth visits. Our staff speak 12+ languages including Chinese, Korean, and Japanese, though video/audio interpretation is also available. Our Mental Health department accepts most major health insurance plans and is open 7 days a week in both Chinatown, Manhattan and Flushing, Queens. A sliding fee discount program is also available for uninsured patients.

Child, Adolescent, & Senior Mental Health Support

With providers who all speak at least two languages, our staff are ready to provide therapy and counseling to patients of all ages and backgrounds. Early mental health support for youth plays an important part in them maintaining emotional health as older adults. Our providers offer comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various conditions, including mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder; anxiety disorders such as generalized anxiety, panic disorders, and phobias; trauma-related conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia; eating disorders; personality disorders; and more. Psychotherapy and medication management are available, as well as support for patients living with chronic medical illnesses.
