Yajie Zhu, EdD, MA

Yajie Zhu is the Director of Health Education at the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center. With a doctorate degree in Health Education from Columbia University, Dr. Zhu leads a multi-disciplinary team that applies an integrated approach to providing patient education and developing culturally responsive and linguistically appropriate health education materials for patients and community members.

As a member of Society for Public Health Education, Dr. Zhu is experienced in providing one-on-one patient counseling and community education on various health issues and is a strong advocate for equal access to health information and services for underserved and immigrant communities.
